With pre-ordering wrapping up this evening, excitement is building for the official launch and availability of the HTC Rhyme tomorrow (Thursday, 29 September). There are no official pre-order numbers available yet, but the buzz around the web, especially on social media siteslooks pretty promising!

As we lead up to the HTC Rhyme availability/release date on 29 September (currently available for pre-order at Target Mobile 22-26 September) We think it’s a great time to post a pre-release review to help shoppers learn what we know so far. So here’s a pros and cons list for all of you Rhyme fans and fence sitters alike.
Great video with additional details on the initial accessories that come with the device. Bluetooth headset, alert/notification charm, and dock. The standard Bluetooth headsets match the phone color and design (nice touch) and the charm can be dangled outside of a purse or pocket to alert the owner of an incoming call or message. The docking station not only charges the phone as you’d expect, but also puts the phone in table top clock mode which means you can throw away that 10 year box clock that has been annoying you out of your sleep all these years and set your Rhyme alarm tone to something a bit more pleasant. Pre-ordering for the HTC Rhyme starts Wednesday at Target. As you can see pictured above the device comes with a neat LED notification charm to alert users of this Android device that they have a message or alert. Further solidifying my suspicions that the device is not only designed for HTC lovers of the female persuasion but more specifically for the younger or teen variety. You’ll also notice the other two accessories that are included in the purchase price. A docking station and a set of ear bud headphones.
OK time to dive into the specifications of the HTC Rhyme smartphone coming to Verizon over the course of this week and next few weeks. The Rhyme is most unmistakably designed for the female smartphone audience. Verizon has bet on purple to attract a notably growing market, the fashion conscious smartphone user. It comes in 3 shades of purple in fact and 3 accessories which all together put the cost at $199 with a Verizon contract.
